Were heading up to northern Minnesota this weekend to visit friends and family for Memorial Day weekend and she wants to bring her Huffy Mountain Bike along. And I guess it would be fun to bring mine along, the mountain bikes do a good job on the dirt roads and it’s good exercise too! It’s just another way to enjoy the great outdoors, see critters, and wildlife, you just never know what to expect? Just have fun and be safe!!!
I bought a really neat bike rack that hooks onto the trunk and does great for hauling bikes, their are alot of bike racks on the market to fit your needs that hook up to your trailer hitch of your car or truck and they even have one that hooks on to your spare tire on the back of your SUV. Your bikes can go where you go safely. Have fun biking, and bring a camera, for those special moments, bring your water bottle.
Every one is talking about going green, it’s in the news, on tv, in articles we read. As an American I think we need to be energy efficient, and I can’t think of a better way than to get a bike and go biking. It’s a healthy way to stay fit and get your exercise, save gas, and time, it sure beats walking and is easier on your joints.
You can really get around, efficently with alot less cost. every one on the globe is using bikes and the history of the bike goes back along way, and I think it’s about time I get with the program and get one. When I was a kid I bought a Schwinn Traveler 3 speed and man, that was fun getting around!! So I think it’s time to get another one just for fun!! To each his own, I’m going green!!!
I was walking down my driveway the other day to get the mail, and a lady was coming down the bike path proud as could be and stopped for me. I felt a little embarrassed. I told her I saw her coming. And she replied; I didn’t want to run you over, and she laughed!! She was just coming home from the grocery store, and getting her exercise.
She started to tell me that her and her husband like having bikes, these adult 3 wheel bikes with a basket on the back, and they love them. They have one in Arizona and use it all the time. Its great exercise, saves gas, for short runs to the store, and it keeps us in great shape, and we get around!
After that conversation, I had to think about it, and I decided what a way to go. The shopping center is a mile away, and if I use my car you don’t get the moisture out of the exhaust system because you don’t run it long enough. GO GREEN! BE COOL!
With the price of gas, think about burning calories instead of gas. I’m tuning up my bike, getting lights that blink, and a carrier, for my stuff, a water bottle and some comfortable shoes for pedeling my way to a better lean mean machine body. I went to the bike accessories shop, and got what I needed to be safe, I wish there were more bumper stickers on cars that said : start seeing bikers!
Get that bike out of moth balls and start looking it over, what does it need? to keep you safe, and going down the road. For every calorie you burn, you can spend the money you save on gas, on good food. I call it the get around and eat healthy syndrome. OH YEAH!!!! Be a winner, and be carefull of those 4 wheel things!!!! Make darn sure they can see you, hi-visibility is way kool!! HAPPY CYCLING!!!

Enjoy biking with friends with proper biking gear accessories. Bike accessories are not just for vanity purposes. These are made to offer you safety and protection from accidents that may occur on the road. A responsible biker always thinks of safety. Look for a reputable bike accessories shop where you can find good gear.
~A proper head gear should be worn at all times while on the road. Fatal or serious accidents often caused by head and neck injuries. Without the proper head gear, a biker puts himself in a serious danger.
~Blinkers and reflectors are very important accessories that warn other motorists of your presence on the road.
~For long bike rides, it is advisable to wear comfortable biking gloves to increase your grip and steering capabilities.

Anyone who’s watched television in the last 20 years is probably familiar with the television show Three’s company. This sitcom originated in the last 1970s and featured three fun-loving roommates and a kooky landlord. The opening scene of the show included a part where the roommates were riding a tandem bike. This scene encouraged many Americans try tandem bikes.
Tandem bikes are quite popular among young kids and couples because of the unique ability to carry more than one rider. These bikes can often be rented in beach areas around the country. Tandem bikes are also a great option for parents who want to teach their child how to ride a bike.
